I’m new to this blog software. In addition to the family site , I feel like there are numerous emails from family members and discussions that we have via text that are worth keeping. The ephemeral nature of texts and emails means that many pearls of wisdom, or funny things, or serious conversations get lost over time. They’re not all appropriate for a family site, of course. Things like us kvetching over political corruption and vacation musings are often worth capturing, but I’m not sure where I’d stash them in a site. Hence, this blog which is really more of my diary or journal. Genuinely interesting ones I’ll perhaps move over to the family site, but hopefully this can just be done using a URL link to a thread on here. Here goes nothin!
