Jewel and I went to another protest, this one was just a small group of 30 doing a silent protest outside a venue in which a GOP fundraiser was happening. The author of the introduction to Project2025 was the keynote speaker, and it was held to raise money for the GOP candidate for Virginia Governor, Winsome-Sears.

It was a fun protest in that many of the folks driving in had no idea we’d be there, and others seemed to have been forewarned to be polite and just wave. A few gave us the finger. Some local residents came by to see what the deal was, and otherwise we held our signs, made some quiet jokes to one another, and were in and out in a little over an hour.
